Bio
Bassist and friend to every FOH engineer he meets, Shawn Sommer has been a professional musician in the Chicago area for 20 years. He served in the band at Willow Creek Church for 17 years, playing many weekends, 7 leadership summits, 5 years of Christmas services, and one very memorable service at the United Center for the 40th anniversary.
He is a partner in Maggie Speaks, a Chicago band that plays or manages around 400 shows a year, working with around 30 musicians. Responsibilities include technical and client advancing, music direction/arrangement and personnel management.
