Senior Design Consultant, Clark

Bio

As a teenager, Bob became interested in AV, taking used stereo and speaker components and building his own hi-fi system in his parent’s basement. This led to his studying broadcasting, and eventually co-founding and managing his college radio station. After college, Bob worked for over 10 years in high technology sales, specifically Fortune 500 business software sales. For five of those years, he was a volunteer technical director at a small church in Chicago, where he was introduced to Clark in 2004, where he’s has had many roles. He started out as a Business Development Manager from a Chicago office, then moved to Georgia to head up the Clark engineering department for a period of time. Although he continues to provide the entire engineering team with project support, he specializes in video system design and on-site video commissioning.

Advent can feel like a sprint for Church Technical Artists—long days, tight deadlines, and the pressure to make every service flawless.

But while you’re pouring yourselves out, who’s pouring into you?

This season, we’ll send short, soul-filling encouragements to help you pause, breathe, and refocus on the One this is all about. You’re doing holy work, but you’re not meant to do it on empty. Let this be your reminder to slow down and spend a few quiet moments with Jesus. You need it—and you deserve it.
