This class will provide a clear and practical understanding of various types of fixtures, including beams, spots, washes, and profile fixtures. We will also explore the specific uses for each type of fixture.
In this class, we’ll talk about the best ways to light events for live broadcast, focusing on how to make sure everything looks great on camera. We’ll also cover some common challenges, like dealing with different lighting setups and making sure the stage lighting stays consistent throughout the service or event.
Lighting plays a crucial role in creating a meaningful and engaging worship experience, but how do we equip and inspire the next generation of volunteer lighting designers in the church? This session will explore practical mindsets for training and mentoring volunteers —many of whom may have little to no prior experience – and provide actionable insights to help build a skilled and passionate lighting team that enhances worship for years to come.
