Matt Hemmele has spent the last 18 years working primarily as a lighting designer for two churches. For the past eight years, he served at Elevation Church as a lighting designer—five years focused on campus lighting and design and three years at their broadcast location. His role often extended into production management, designing and leading flagship events throughout the year at the broadcast campus.
Originally from Illinois, Matt moved to Charlotte in 2017. He has been married to his wife, Claire, for 13 years, and together they have two amazing children, Oliver and Sophie.
