FIRST IN, LAST OUT

SERVING TECHNICAL ARTISTS AROUND THE WORLD

What is FILO?
FILO exists to provide skill development, community and inspiration to local church technical artists all around the world. Our goal is to help them become more effective so their churches are more effective.
The FILO 2027 Conference will welcome over 2,500 people In-person and on the Live Stream. The only way an event of this size is made possible, is by a large group of people serving as the FILO crew! With FILO continuing to grow, we need your help to equip and encourage thousands of church technical artists around the world.

WHAT PAST FILO VOLUNTEERS SAY

"I decided to come in a day early to help the FILO crew get set up, moving tables, and putting water out for y'all to drink throughout the week. I just love being able to serve this community. There's so much that goes into this conference, so just to be able to come early and help has been great."
"It was so much fun to be a part of serving at FILO last year- so filling!"
"I love the world of operations, hospitality, and administration and serving at FILO hits all of those!"
"It's amazing being a part of creating the environment so technical artists can walk in and not be concerned about anything. It was great being able to interact with other technical artists and enjoy time in community while serving."
"I love, and always learn from, the mission and values of FILO to serve church creative, worship, and production staff and volunteers. It's a blessing and a privilege, and truly a blast to serve alongside FILO staff and volunteers!"
"It was exciting being able to serve and be an extension of the blessing that FILO is for so many churches."
"My husband works actively in the production world and getting to be a part of a conference that highlights, showcases, and supports those who make the technical side of church happen is such an honor. I love loving people and to get to have my boots on the ground for such an amazing cause gets me pumped."
"I served at FILO last year & look forward to doing it again! I enjoy helping make the conference happen!"
"I loved serving in breakouts last year. I'm able to learn from the breakouts while serving the FILO community. It's the best of both worlds."
"I love to serve the FILO Community because it allows me the privilege to meet, bless, learn from, and serve with people who are not from my own church who are passionate about leveling up their skills in the church production ministry."
"I served last year on the breakout support team, and I loved the community of getting to know others, and helping make the conference happen so that people can attend and be refreshed and encouraged to go back to their own contexts and praise God with the creative arts!"

Advent can feel like a sprint for Church Technical Artists—long days, tight deadlines, and the pressure to make every service flawless.

But while you’re pouring yourselves out, who’s pouring into you?

This season, we’ll send short, soul-filling encouragements to help you pause, breathe, and refocus on the One this is all about. You’re doing holy work, but you’re not meant to do it on empty. Let this be your reminder to slow down and spend a few quiet moments with Jesus. You need it—and you deserve it.
