Bio
What do puppet shows, a Nike shoe unveiling, churches, an NBC reality dating show, and rock and roll have in common? If you answered: “some of the types of events Sators has mixed for”, you would be correct! After his parents forced him to register for a puppet ministry at his church in jr. high, Sators was introduced to the concept of audio mixing and fell in love. While a senior in high school, he began touring with a Christian band helping in any technical capacity possible. For the 20 years that have followed, Sators has toured around the globe, working events in 38 countries, across all 50 states, and 6 continents for a variety of musical acts ranging from rock, pop, singer-songwriter, country, Christian, and hip-hop. In recent years he has been seen behind a console for acts such as OneRepublic, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Natalie Grant, among others.
In addition to touring, Sators has mixed in a wide variety of church environments ranging from Willow Creek Community Church to portable churches setting up in high schools/movie theaters to ~3000 seat auditoriums to an African-American church on the south side of Chicago. He has a passion for music, creating the best mix possible, educating others, and helping eliminate audio distractions to allow attendees to engage with the program in front of them.
